Carrie Mini Series

WOW!! All eight episodes of The Carrie miniseries are going to be released on the same day!! Woohoo! 😱 I'm so excited people!! I cannot wait to watch this!! I was thinking when you're watching it on TV that you have to wait and watch one episode per week! But no! All eight episodes!! 👻

IKR?! I just finished episode two. I'll watch another one later. Right now my eyes hurt. I think this is going to be very good. Carrie's mother scared me to death in the original . Somehow, she manages to still do that. Lol.

I'm getting ready to check it out and see if my friend's libraries are still available so I can watch it right now. Where are you watching it from?

Where can I watch

Unless you have friends that share their libraries with you where you can watch the movie for free. The only other place to watch it is prime video. For now anyway.

Let me know if it's worth the time. I wasn't a big fan of the movies or the book (they're good but just wasn't my cup of tea) but maybe this series does a good job

Well maybe my friend Christy can step in on this as well. Christy, join in on this conversation because I believe she's read the books. My eyes won't let me read books anymore, but you're just going to have to take your chances and check this out because if you don't like to carrie movies, they're not your cup of tea as you worded it, You may not like this either, but all I can say is I loved every single one of the carry movies and this eight episode mini series is absolutely outstanding!!! And they're working on a season 2 and a season 3!! I hope they get it done soon because I'm addicted to this. It's so good! It is definitely up my alley and definitely not just a cup of tea but a whole pot of tea hahaha. So just take your chances and check it out. Thanks for responding to my discussion and have a wonderful week 🙏🏼

@Uniquemovies I actually didn't read the "Carrie" book/s. I did read "Rosemadder" though. "Carrie" is on my Goodreads to read list. However, I can tell you, usually the book is better because it often fills in missing pieces the movie left out for whatever reason. Hope this helps.

@nagarpoe - I read what you posted. I know you weren't addressing me, but I have found that books are often better than the movies. I think the fill in missing pieces that movies leave out for whatever reason..

Thanks for responding back Christy. I think the reason why they leave so many things out of the books in the movies is because they would have to turn it into a mini-series just like this new carrie eight episode mini series. Personally for me and this is just me saying this that I prefer to watch the movie because I like to hear and see and watch everything that's going on. It's got the background music soundtracks it's got the jump scares all the stuff that books don't give you. I used to read books but like I had mentioned earlier my eyes won't let me read very long. And I don't have the patience for a book. What I will do is I will cheat. I will go to the back and read how it ends. Hahaha. Anyway, have a good day everyone. I'm getting ready to pick out a movie to watch right now. Big hugs!! 🤗🤗
