a better viewing experience than the Australian Soap opera that's for sure
Neighbors (2026)
Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair
The Whole Bloody Affair > Vol 1 & 2
Originally shot as a 4+ hour epic it was the studio who decided to split this movie in two and the 'cliffhanger' between Volumes was never in the original story. This means you as the viewer know just as much as The Bride about the Final Fight scene.
If I had been able to watch this originally as the whole bloody affair that moment could be one of my favourite, most hard hitting moments in cinema.
The funniest thing for me about Red Pill content is that if you actually paid attention in Matrix class you would have realised that the red pill only took you to a different, more specific corner of the slave simulation
I enjoyed the first Knives Out but this was probably my favourite of the 3.
Benior Blanc is such a fun character and you can really tell that Daniel Craig likes playing him.
Luckily you don’t have to have seen any of the other films for this to make sense. Have recommended it to people who haven’t and they loved it.
The original Knives Out is also worth a watch but I wasn’t as huge a fan of Glass Onion but to each their own
Wake Up Dead Man
Bring Her Back
I watched “Talk to me” leading into midnight 2025/26 and started my year with my hole absolutely clenched.
Bring her back was next on my list and it wasn’t until I was about to hit play that I noticed that it was the same directors.
Having no idea what to expect from these movies, watching them back to back sure was an experience.
Talk to me was quite anxiety inducing but Bring her back somehow brought that to another level.
I’m a huge fan of horror - especially Stanley Kubrick, Ari Aster and Jordan Peele. As far as Aussie horror really like The Babadook and The Loved Ones.
If you are a fan of any of the above mentioned I think both movies are worth checking out and I would recommend talk to me before this one - other’s may disagree.
Really loved these movies and I can’t wait to watch them again once I’m in the right mood to be spooked to heck and back.
I did have to look away for a scene (table) and its the first time I’ve had to look away from a film as an adult, but that moment didn’t detract from the story, if anything it enhanced it - but if you need to look away you’re not missing the crucial moment - it has already reached the goal of the scene
Watched this movie leading into midnight 2025/26 and started the year with my hole clenched tightly.
As an Australian fan of horror, especially the shining, 2001 a space odyssey, get out, nope, hereditary, midsommar, the babadook and the loved ones, this was an unexpected treat.
As biased as I am, this film really stood up to the other’s mentioned and that’s a huge achievement for a debut from 2 Aussie boys.
Next up on the list was Bring Her Back and gosh I was not ready for that hectic back to back but I highly recommend
This isn't bad for what it was. Let Tarantino get that bag.
I liked that even though it's CGI, they used the old anime frame rate and the animation/mocap is well done.
Excited to see the whole bloody affair in 70mm!!

Sean Combs: The Reckoning • Season 1
50 Cent is a diabolical supervillain. Between him and Kendrick, we as a society need to do a better of of refining our hatred
Game to video adaptations don't have a great track record at the best of times but this is one of the rare instances where not only have they done justice to the source material but expanded on the lore in a meaningful way to both fans and newcomers.
I really want this team to work on putting the original Bioshock world onto the TV screens
Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks
There’s a whole generation who don’t fully understand the greatness that is Reggie Miller. For that younger generation I think this is the perfect start

South Park
You can say what you want about the Matt Stone & Trey Parker but you cannot deny that they are outsider artists who broke through to mainstream while staying true to their values.
In their own words... "we have f**k you money now"
