McAdams is fantastic, showed phenomenal range, with some dark comedic delivery, masterfully believable unhinged and disassociated intensity, its a nuanced and expressive performance. The directing and pacing were captivating, island life and survival after pretty over the top plane crash scene with fantastic final destination style gore provides an entertaining situation, and enjoyed the violence/gore throughout. I would just say there were some daft moments that seemed a bit implausible and a few elements of the script that were a touch contrived and obvious, i know it was supposed to be dark comedy and all that, but it still left me thinking at times, that was far too obvious. So i will give it a 7.9/10. Its a good watch, and immersive. Worth watching for McAdams performance that i wouldn't be surprised if was nominated for an Oscar it was truly that good. Dylan was good as well but this was totally McAdams movie. The film itself won't be winning the best movie Oscar though.

Beautifully shot movie, superbly acted, Brendan always manages to stoke the emotions, he plays this to perfection. Good laughs, feel good moments, and potent emotional layers. Fantastic child actor in it who did a great job of her role. I give it an 8.3/10
Unique, well executed, great direction, Paces superbly, fantastic acting, and is a psychological type of thriller rather than jump scare horror. You get a real sense of seeing what you werent meant to see, behind the scenes of an old broadcast from the 1970s. I could go into depth when i have more time to write. I would say its a must see for Horror and Psychological Thriller enthusiasts. 8.4/10
The plot was fairly original, and direction, in car camera shots, framing were great in parts, left feeling a little underwhelmed at the end without giving spoilers, mostly because such a strong plot could have had a lot more substance and more action, left it a little one dimensional. There was plenty of things to like in the sadist Hopkins' William and the Endurance of Skarsgards' Eddie. The actors were perfectly cast for the script and couldn't have done a better job with what they had to work with. I did enjoy the film, for what it was, theres a lot of good elements even if it under delivered on the promise of the plot for these two brilliant actors. its worth a watch, and would rate it at 7.7/10
Gritty Drama, set in Galapagos beautiful scenery. Great plot based on true events, depicts the harsh reality of isolated off grid living in that time, and the human elements of all of the settlers, as they try to deal with one another. I enjoyed the directing choices of Howard. Strong acting performances from most, only felt De Armas character could have been a bit more subtle in her selfish conceitedness it could have drawn a lot from more layers and less bluntness. I thought Sydney Sweeney was excellent, and her role was cast perfectly. All in all, i liked this movie. i will rate this 7.7/10
This is my favourite comedy film of all time. Its so funny and has quotable catchphrases/lines in almost every scene.. The pacing and structure is perfect for a building of action and tension within a comedic overtone. So many great characters and performances the casting was perfect throughout even bit parts had memorable funny lines. Rogan and Franco have a great on screen chemistry. Perfect blend of over the top action with comedy, where the jokes are actually funny, somewhat unexpected jokes flying in from every angle and plenty of surprises to keep you hooked along the way. Soundtrack is incredible too. Must see. 8.8/10
One of my favourites, incredible directing, colour grading, creative camera shots, and framing, a gripping plot, with 2 fantastic actors giving a masterclass in range. I think everyone should give this one a watch if you never have. 8.4/10
I was left feeling a little underwhelmed. A hollow script, that even the all star cast couldn't save. The plot had potential, could have been realised far better, the comedy just wasn't hitting the mark, it felt a bit contrived comedically. Directorally, some moments of good cinematography but it always felt like tension was never built successfully. It was hard to really get invested in the characters, and therefore the story and aim of what they were doing. Paul Rudd seemed restricted by the script and Jenna Ortega seemed to play a generic Gen Z type with not much depth to the character at all. Richard E Grant was a plus casting, but he was simply a charicature rich greedy type. The rest of the cast just seemed a bit nutty. Of course lots of people will enjoy this movie for being one of those camp comedy fantasy style films, with its attempt to depict unicorns, but it wasnt really my cup of tea. I got a little bored.. its a decent one time watch. 6.4/10
I wanted to go into detail with a review but i could write for an hour describing what i loved about this movie. Mise en Scene and Directing is sublime, innovative, and utilizes immersive Camera shots and angles of framing, - seriously creative, captivating plot and point of view/character story arc/perspective sequences that tie together fantastically. Great casting and brilliant acting from all. Amazing and original, keeps you riveted throughout. I would be surprised if this isnt a worldwide hit. It will have you thinking 'wow' throughout with the excellent directing work and outside of the box ideas, let alone the gripping plot, with a fantastic finale. I would use the term masterpiece or at least close to it. 9.2/10
