My personal favorite Tarantino flick. Peak Hollywood mixed with Manson hippie era vibes, I’m all in. Definitely an ode to things that Tarantino loves. But I’m here for it.

Hysteria!
A fun campy 80’s satanic-panic, almost satire-esque romp. Very tongue-in-cheek, the show almost plays itself straight, but there’s this air of self awareness that makes it a blast to watch. Some of the acting is hit or miss, but that’s okay given the campy-ness. Love seeing Bruce Campbell any chance I can get. Also, Nolan North is here, and that’s always a treat.

The Seven Year Itch
Classic Marilyn flick. Dated, but that's okay.

The House in Between 2
For some reason, this one wasn't as good as the first one. They focus too much on random investigators and psychics, it feels like it loses it's plot a bit. Even though it had more "evidence" this time around, it didn't feel as compelling. The new investigators aren't as likable, and it just loses it's scientific approach when you start introducing hypnosis and shit into the mix.

The House in Between
A pretty good documentary. I like that Steve (Ghost Hunters fame) always attempts to rule out the most logical explanations before jumping straight to “paranormal”. This documentary shows some pretty interesting evidence, nothing mind blowing. The lengths the team goes to, to try and debunk some of the things happening, make it compelling. A solid spooky documentary for the Halloween season.

Parasite
A modern masterpiece. Strange, funny, creepy, bizarre. Stop reading the reviews and watch this.

Rear Window
One of the best thriller movies ever. My personal favorite Hitchcock flick. Seriously, watch this.

DOA: Dead or Alive
Pretty stupid. It's a fun watch though. The bra/pistol mid-air equip is legendary.
DOA: Dead or Alive
It Ends
Not for everyone. But for the people that it resonates with, this movie is a BANGER. It's a slow burn, don't expect horror slop jump scares, or demons possessing a fucking mirror. This is an existential horror movie, with drama. One of the best low budget movies I've ever seen, up there with Coherence. I love movies about a central mystery/location, and the characters within that trying to figure shit out. Totally my cup of tea. Couldn't recommend this enough.
