This is like Moneyball for me but instead of baseball its stocks.. Saw clips of this on instagram and decided to rewatch it as I felt confused the first time around. Very fascinating story and the performances are all top notch, there is some quality about this film that stops it from being a massive wow factor for me though, couldn't tell you quite what it is so this review is pointless in a sense.The Big Short - The Simpsons Movie
The writers room makes a massive difference.. To many this film is the finale of an iconic series as later seasons of the show did not have the same feeling the original 9-11 season did. You can feel the old days swimming back within the writing itself. So many great jokes, visually a delight even for something as basic as The Simpsons. Also some of the shock humour threw me for a spin I was surprised what they decided to go for in this one. I think the hate for the newer seasons can sometimes be a bit overkill I can say the show never got anywhere near this level afterward.The Simpsons Movie - Barbie
2nd half really carries this film.. I understand and support the messaging that is going on in this film but it lays it on pretty heavy at the start. The Ken musical number is always a blast, I know I was excited when this film came out but I don't know what I was smoking giving this a 5 star rating originallyBarbie - Toy Story 3
Strongest ending out of the first 3 which makes sense considering it was the original conclusion to the franchise Another great instalment but I personally think if you take out the ending I believe this is the weakest of the 3. The third instalment plays it more by the book with an early established conflict with no real surprise twists and turns that the gang have to battle a conflict of emotions similar to the first 2. As well the scale of adventure is stripped down a lot mostly taking place in the day care which was unfortunate compared to how they handled different environments in the first 2.Toy Story 3 - The Mask
This films soundtrack is amazing whilst its score is god awful This film will always hold a soft spot in my heart as I grew up with it. But even I can admit the film can be rough all things around. Obviously whenever Stanley became the mask I was hooked at every scene. Also Cameron Diaz here is top 5 all time hottest womanThe Mask - The Human Condition III: A Soldier's Prayer
what a shattering conclusion to such an incredible story through every social, emotional and physical roadblock kaji faces it just seems nothing will stop him from returning to his beloved wife. but thematically his voice is never heard, not by the soviets and sadly not by his wife which leads to his demise. a true soul sucking tale of a man who is cheering for the goodness in the human spirit and being left with ruin at every turning point. a true triumph in filmmaking which has provoked my emotion and filled my mind with endless thoughts. definitely the greatest trilogy of all timeThe Human Condition III: A Soldier's Prayer
