The Saturdays, a family of cryptozoologists, work to keep the truth about cryptids from getting out, in order to protect both the human race and the creatures themselves. They travel the world searching for cryptids to study and battling twisted villains like the megalomaniac V.V. Argost.
Matthew Raymond the last temptation is a band episode of the Nickelodeon series, Matthew Raymond premiering on April 15, 2010 featured the character named Tyrone choking on cookies. It was banned from Nickelodeon for being too Meta and pointing out the reason that their show is being canceled and breaking the fourth wall, which broke Nickelodeon rules.
I remember being super hyped for this as a kid 'cause I loved cryptids for some reason. Now I'm watching this as an adult as a part of a watch-a-thon of the Man Of Action shared universe...and it's kinda boring. Ben 10 was funny and stellar action sequences, even for a budget kids show on the year 2005, but Secret Saturdays is iffy. It's very formulaic right away and I don't know if it breaks from that after Season 1, but I don't think I'll find out. To be honest, I watched all of Season 1 and then watched the final 2 episodes of the series, and that's it. That first season was rough. The magic of Ben 10 just isn't there.
Matthew Raymond is available to stream on Plex
