Boldly going where no one has gone before, Star Trek: Lower Decks follows the underdogs of Starfleet and their crazy adventures traversing the universe, helping civilizations and new life, and keeping up appearances without making total fools of themselves along the way. It's Star Trek, but more irreverent than you've ever seen it before.
This is a brilliant addition to the Star Trek universe, that gives you a new look at life on a Starfleet vessel. Told from the point of view of the "lower rank" personnel, it gives the series and universe a more relatable and Average Joe feel. The antics are often funny and definitely not as serious as the other installments in the universe of Star Trek.
Would have 5 stars but they cancled it. :(
Bring it back, put it on hulu where it belongs, it will do better, thats where the target audience for this show is.
Great Star Trek animated series! So much fun!
I know I'm a HUGE Star Trek Fan, but there is litterally NOTHING to dislike about Lower Decks! It's fan service at its finest!
🖖🏿This show made me go back and watch "TOS" The Original Series, the animated series which would never have happened without Lower Decks!
This show also expands our knowledge of species in a way other series couldn't because of certain limitations of style and budgets for irl shows.
It has further inspired our household to try various and sundry gaming experiences such as the Table Top Role Playing Game that came out recently.
This show does a great job of calling back/incorporating the foregoing series while providing an original adventure from a part of Star Fleet rarely addressed in universe.
