The past, present, and future lives of surviving Oceanic Flight 815 passengers are dramatically intertwined as a fight for survival ensues in a quest for answers after crashlanding on a mysterious island. Each discovery prompts yet more secrets, as the hastily-formed colony search for a way off the island, or is this their home?
It's like Gilligan's Island meets The Twilight Zone. It has a cast of amazingly well-developed characters and a mysterious plot that's crack-like in its addictiveness.
Love the fact all the characters are intertwined prior to crash. Probably the best show before the age of Breaking Bad & The Sopranos for character development and what an emotional roller coaster some of the characters go on, if you are anything like me you will cry hard at times. There is a bit of over acting occasionally but that was indicative of the times.
You continue to watch and you get the odd answer as you go along but it raises more questions. It isn't always obvious when they are showing future events.
Season 5 is a massive shift in style so strap yourself in its going to be a bumpy ride.
You go in to Season 6 with so much up in the air needing to be explained but the writers do a fabulous job, there are plenty of mind blown moments along the way. Is it as good a series as talked about, hell yeah. I can see why when it was originally aired there was some backlash from a certain section of watchers. You have to keep your eyes on every inch of the screeen as there are clues everywhere, question everything.
Just watch it!!
This is my absolute #1 favorite TV series I've ever watched. Watching it for the first time when aired was a great ride! Bought it on Fandango. Watching it again with my wife now grown kid. It still has everything I love. All the hooks, questions, twists, and slow reveals. We will binge 3-4 at a time. You know it's good when no one is looking at their phone!
This is the most interesting series I have seen so far its more than worth watching. Best thing is how they have back story for every character, They have balanced every character so well and inter connected to each other. Every person on that island is of equally importance for story build. Great story, amazing acting, investing mysteries and twists. I would recommend anyone to watch Lost!!
Lost is one of those lighting in a bottle once-in-a-lifetime shows that could never be made again.
It's flawed, and it's perfect. Every question is answered with two more questions, and that momentum is carried all the way through to the end.
This show really had me captivated all the way through. It’s just the way it ended for me was a bit meh…. But if you like a good plot twist suspense drama mystery, then it’s definitely worth a watch
