When Lisa Tepes, beloved wife of Vlad Tepes AKA Dracula, is accused of witchcraft and burned at the stake by an overzealous bishop, Dracula declares war on the people of Wallachia and unleashes an army of murderous demonic creatures from hell. Luckily, Trevor Belmont, last survivor of the Belmont clan, a disgraced family known for hunting all kinds of monsters, is still in town and agrees to take the fight to the lord of vampires.
One of the greatest adaptations of a video game franchise into TV/film in my opinion. It makes sure you know that it's doing its own thing, with its own points to make. All the while still feeling like a love letter to the games that are its source material. This show kicks ass, even if you aren't a diehard fan of the games, and that should be the goal for every adaptation like this.
Of far greater quality than it had any right to be. Could be the perfect luck of great VA's, animators, and (for the most part), a decent story... it's certainly worth a watch. Fantastic.
Very nice take on the games which barely had any story to begin with. It's both original and faithful.

out of all that I've seen and tried to avoided like reason Disney trash. this makes me want to find the old ps1,snes and novels to this shit cos god damn its good like I've seen some good shit but fuck me. is this just as fucked as berserk, or am i thinking to low for berserk idk people say im not ready for it but fuck i wasnt ready for this shit lol. i want more
The animation and story line at large is amazing but i feel that there is a lot of missed interaction between the characters, it all seems to get lost in a butt load of amazing action but after that “and then this happened”
As a fast paced binge watch its great but in retrospect the missed interactions do seem to bite in terms of the connect that could be built with the characters
