One of the best series i've watched in a while. I dont even play leauge.
Absolute cinema, absolute cinema, s2 is rushed and could be better but its still absolute cinema
The animation, the story at large, the action, the scores everything about this show is absolute cinema
I cant believe they can make this out of the shit money they gather in that shit ass game of their’s which i play every few days…
Masterpiece! Probably the best animated series I've seen and I don't think anything else will be taking that title anytime soon.
This is fire, man! What amazing storytelling. Visuals, sound effects, animation, voice acting – superb. Wish I washed it when it came out.
The visuals and animation alone are worth the watch. It's pretty incredible TBH. Like CGI but not, meets animation but not, IDK how to describe it. It almost seems as if they had real actors and then they drew the animation over them because it's so fluid and there's so many subtle movements like eye blinks and the way they look or act. The story can get a little convoluted and is definitely not for kids it's quite violent. But overall I've watched it a couple times. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Arcane is straight-up incredible. The animation is next level, the story’s heartbreaking, and those sisters will wreck you. It’s dark, emotional, and beautifully made. If you’re all over the place watching it, that’s normal — it’s supposed to mess with you. Just lock in and let it hit. You got this.
If you ever shy away from shows because it's "based off of a video game," this is the one case you shouldn't run away. TV doesn't get much better than this.
Easily one of the most impressive shows I've ever watched, arguably the best since the likes of Samurai Jack. I was expecting this to be okay but kinda mid like some video game adaptations are and instead I went on one of the most entertaining emotional roller coasters I've seen.
I truly do not know what the best element of this show is. It's extremely well written, the animation is absolutely gorgeous, the voice acting is spot on, the characters are shockingly interesting (especially Jinx) and the only downside to this series is that it ends after only two seasons. If you're at all on the fence about watching this series, just do what Jinx would do and pull the trigger.
One of the best things ever made, including sliced bread. Full rewatch happening on the Streaming Things podcast.
This has to be one of if not the best video game movie adaptation of all time
I feel like I heavily under appreciated this show when I first watched it. Since then it has not stopped crossing my mind for the past two weeks. A re-watch is definitely on the way for me, this show really hasn't escaped my mind it's insane. Depressing they weren't allowed a third season but with this same creative team I'm excited for the other LOL shows.
The show was suggested to me by a friend at work I was very skeptical as I've heard of the game and I didn't care for it but I was very surprised that this series was damn good.
I guess I'm now a huge fan of Ella Purnell who played Jinx she puts a lot of effort into her roles by learning about the character and franchises she plays in. She doesn't have to put this much effort in but she chooses too not many actors put their heart and soul into learning about franchises she seems to not want to upset fan communities.
There's so many good characters but we can all agree we don't like Maddie.
Animation and storytelling that is so above and beyond the level it had any right to be for the underlying IP, it deserves every praise it can get. Sets the standard that all future animation should be held against - this will be the baseline soon enough.
It's hard to believe that such a toxic and sick game like League of Legends could have given rise to a true work of art. 12/10, a true masterpiece.
