In 1972, the Apollo 17 mission discovered a hypergate to Mars on the surface of the moon. Soon a war breaks out between Earth and Mars, and Martian soldiers begin to descend from the sky, riding steel giants, intent on exterminating humanity.
Has a very strong first half, but falls off in the second. Still, you could do much worse for a mecha show.
🧠 Opinion: The familiar concept from *Gundam SEED* still works.

🏁 Conclusion: Mechas, war, and high school students. A popular concept that remains effective, presented in a fresh new package. That is really all you need to know about this anime. No major missteps—solid on all fronts, though not exactly outstanding.
