Where to Watch What We Do in the Shadows
- parktool69December 1, 2024good show
- american_shishiAugust 24, 2025Classic mockumentary comedy. The genre may be a little dated, but this is one of the best. It's one of those movies on my short list where, if you're my friend and I find out you haven't seen it, then we are scheduling time to watch it immediately! Funny, original, charming, bizarre.
- Space GhostJuly 16, 2026One of my favorite movies!
- NickyJMay 21, 2026Literally one of my favorite films! Not very often is a movie just damn good. Funny from begin to end. It’s obvious the filmmakers don’t take themselves seriously and that’s right up my alley! They created a hilarious movie that I think everyone should see. It’s prompted me to start watching the TV series that has spawned from the film. Watch it!
- mickerdooNovember 16, 2025Hilariously dry comedy/horror/mockumentary by Clement and Waititi. Great premise with laugh out loud situations. One of the best in the genre.
- Paul KalkhofSeptember 27, 2025I adore this film. It truly loves its subject matter and everyone commits to making it a memorable experience. With some of the best lines and moments coming from smaller parts.
- Alain GodetSeptember 8, 2025French dubbing is important in the rating, as it is a jewel of dubbing !
- RickJuly 15, 2025We laughed, we cried, we drank blood. At its heart, this is a story of how we need more Stu’s in our lives. Some people are just gifted at bridging cultural divides, whether you sniff your friends crotches, smell like a wet dog, or love drinking virgin blood, at the end of the day we’re all just trying to make the best of our time on Earth. I’m just sad Petyr wasn’t around to see it happen.
- TasMattDecember 2, 2024A great take on the mocumentary genre, spiced with Kiwi humour, great characters, and even better performances! A must watch for fans of The Office style, and it spawned a great spin-off series Wellington Paranormal, which must be watched if you enjoyed this. Then there's the brilliant US show by the same name as this movie, starring the indelible Matt Berry...
