Everybody who has a negative review about this absolute masterpiece just can't see the raw and authentic beauty behind it. Leatherface, AKA Bubba Sawyer, has to be one of the most complex and amazingly written slashers of all time. He has definitely made a remark as a classic 70s staple and will continue to live on in iconicness. The pure sweat and blood that was made into this film has to be psychologically analyzed because it is crazy how real the behind the scenes actually was. Mind you, the actor of Leatherface, AKA Gunnar Hansen, was losing. his. mind.
You guys need to learn how to appreciate that even though the quality in this movie may not be top tier and that it is definitely old, that doesn't change the fact it is STILL a masterpiece. For all of the posers who flame The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, not just the orginal film, but the entire franchise itself, and say it's all gore and shock-value --- either haven't finished the movie or spend too much time listening to strict parents complain on the internet. Once again, this movie is not bad. You're allowed to have an opinion on it but SOME of you guys aren't taking the beauty of this project into consideration and looking deeper into Bubba Sawyer's character. I doubt you guys even know that he's NOT the only version of Leatherface.
