Where to Watch Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War
- Gabezilla6d agoAs war movies go it up at the top.
- CubaneFebruary 19, 2026Taking heavy inspiration from American war movies like Saving Private Ryan, this film tells the story of the Korean war, from a Korean perspective. Many of the battle scenes are artistic to the point of being saccharine, but the importance of the history being put on display here cannot be overstated. It accurately depicts the war crimes committed by both North and South, and doesn’t pull any punches showing the bamboo battalions. Highly recommended for anyone with even a passing interest in war history!
