- MR_BigTimeSeptember 2, 2026Twenty-five years ago, Shrek took the world (kids, adults, and even the kid in all of us) hostage, and has never let go. It’s as witty and funny today as it ever was. I will go further and say that while I prefer to watch movies with the audio language they were filmed/created in, Shrek can be even funnier if you’re a Spanish speaker. Of course, some of the original jokes get lost in translation, in contrast, but you’d still be doing yourself a favor watching it both ways.
