"REC" turns on a young TV reporter and her cameraman who cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams -- which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report.
- Timeless CinemaJune 26, 2025Zombie horror and found footage have never been better executed. Best enjoyed if you understand Spanish, due to inaccurate subtitles.
- trrsFebruary 5, 2026What a ride! This movie is very well made. Its a shame the remake couldnt live up to the original but something about this movie and the fact that its shot as if your seeing it through the camera mans perspective make it that much more immersive. If your looking for something that doesnt just rely on cheap jump scares but creates a scary but edge of seat environment this movie is for you.
- Biohazardous.July 5, 2026Very well executed found-footage! Characters behave believably and despite the little time spent with them, you get a good grasp of them. Setting is cramp and eerie but still feels lived in. Lots of scares and ground work laid to foreshadow events.
- Sean KerryDecember 4, 2025Good film, interesting story line and good attention grabbing.
- Scott ThomasNovember 15, 2024Just watched this for the second time. It still holds up. Someday I’ll have to watch the second one. Everyone says it’s great too.
- Paul WalshMay 8, 2026A found footage classic. Lean at 75 minutes, the movie gets going very early on and never lets up. Highly recommended.
- sd6s6April 14, 2026a masterpiece of horror, a zombie apocalypse mixed with found footage. one of my new favorite movies, i might rewatch it in the future.
