- ርልዪረJune 20, 2026Nicolas Cage, Famke Janssen and Kevin Durand all star in Primal which is a film mixing elements of Indiana Jones, Under Siege and Die Hard but without those films budgets. Cage is on good form here, wisecracking his way through the hero role and he seems to be having a good time playing this character. Durand is a good bad guy although a little over the top. Janssen doesn't have much to work with but is serviceable in her role. Action scenes are passable and for a 'B' film this is all you can expect. Primal doesn't outstay its welcome at a slim 90 minute run time and really is a fun film worth watching if like me you like to see what Nicolas Cage has to offer these days.
