Keanu Reeves as the hotshot FBI rookie chasing bank-robbing surfers, Patrick Swayze as the zen wave-riding cult leader Bodhi, and that skydiving, barefoot-surfing, shirtless chaos? It’s stupid, it’s cheesy, it’s completely over-the-top. The action is insane, the bromance is electric, and the whole “utopian thieves who live for the rush” vibe hits different. It’s not trying to be deep, it’s just pure, sweaty, ridiculous fun. Point Break is peak 90s cinema, and it still slaps harder than most movies today.
