Where to Watch Parasite Dolls
- BurnharmSeptember 12, 2026Parasite Dolls is a good cyberpunk anime but I kept feeling that something was missing. I can't really explain exactly what it is, but I was never completely satisfied with it. There is a lot to like here the futuristic world, the androids, the atmosphere and the whole cyberpunk setting are interesting, and the movie has that very cool late 90s early 2000s anime feeling. It has some good ideas about humans, technology and what happens when the line between the two becomes harder to see. But I think it could have been much better. The ideas are there and the world is interesting but I wanted more from the characters and from the story. It feels like there is a bigger and more interesting movie hiding inside what we actually get. Still, I enjoyed watching it. It is a solid cyberpunk story with some good moments, but unfortunately it never quite reaches the level I was hoping for.
