- Nicholas FlorioJanuary 23, 2026What a great movie, and I only had to watch it 3 times to completely understand it. Lol. I love films that experiment with time narratives or temporal anomalies but these ideas are sometimes hard to grasp the first time... for me.

Unknown cast (except one) do a stellar job keeping all dialogue feel completely natural. And the story? Oh god how I love the story. It's an urban campfire spooky tale, if you ask me. Deceptively simple. Fundamentally complex. The kind of movie that stays with you, long after you've watched it. Can't recommend it enough.

It gives you pieces and lets you figure things out but it’s not trying to be super pretentious. I also just have a soft spot for these “dinner party” type of movies, so when you throw some sci-fi in there, it makes it even better!
