Really cool. It establishes this odd high school drama / noir vibe with being jokey about it. A big swing to make but they definitely hit. Some of the acting is a little weak but it fits the genre.

*gif of a gorilla in a fedora masturbating furiously* People who found Obsession unbelievable might have a brain aneurysm while watching this It’s a well-produced student film tryna support their position that neo-noirs can be made in the 21st century. They can, but the project still failed. This may have just ruined any future Rian Johnson film for me. How did we ever trust this man to write and direct another film. Troy Duffy and The Boondock Saints put this to shame, and that’s not particularly a good movie! What could have became of Troy Duffy if Weinstein hadn’t psychologically forced him to self-sabotage his own career lol Twin Peaks: the film; it even comes with coffee and pie! Only this one is made for plebes and losers Not only do I not believe JGL’s ability to fight, but his getup is so dorky he should be getting into even MORE fights than he does. The fights were goofy. EVERYTHING was goofy smh This fast-talking neo-noir shit pisses me off so much when the plot and direction is jackshit The overacting reminds me of The Room Laura is just always at The Pin’s offering you a ride home and you’re not gonna sus her out a little sooner? lmao

Interesting…. The dialogues sometimes surreal due to the age of the characters. I really enjoyed but I need to watch it one more time 😉
