We create fictional walls in our lives, cowering away from things that we dream. When we are drawing near to death, is that then the only time we realize that we never expanded beyond? Only a rare few realize these limits society puts on us and breaks the chains - the rest choose to live in chains and blame it on anything except themselves - when really life is only one opportunity and the cost is something you never owned anyway.

“State bird’s a meadowlark.” Merking a girl’s father and immediately leaving her while she’s grieving is….alpha? The music when they first set out is so magical and matched with the shots of nature it’s just so wonderful Caught wearing that hat as an outlaw smh nice French New Wave fit cowboy

Doesn’t waste time, knows what it is and leaves without overstaying its welcome. Leave it to Terrence Malick, of all directors, to make something feel so sparse but so heavy at the same time. Interesting movie.
