A Scanner Darkly
Where to Watch A Scanner Darkly
- elonleikkaaja1d agoVisually stunning and perfectly paced lightweight mindfuck about drug addiction and a drug epidemic. It remains remarkably topical today, especially in light of government surveillance. Great cast also! You definitely need to read Philip K. Dick's book. Highly recommended! A present for my friends... at Thanksgiving.
- tellumApril 10, 2025Honestly hard to critique this movie because it’s very experimental and deliberately breaks a lot of rules in regard to normal story telling. The visual style and plot progression are unlike any movie you are going to see. If you want something completely unconventional then give this a try, but this won’t appeal to most movie watchers.
